Medical translation doesn't just benefit doctors. Labeling and documentation for medicinal and surgical devices are circulated internationally so that they can be translated into the language they are actually using.
Health jargon is also specific to the original language and there is no direct translation of words into the target language. Words should be translated and explained in this case in order to be heard.
Medical translation has made too many lives easier and as a result, language is no longer a barrier.
